Katy B to play midnight slot at Togethers NYE party.

Together’s 10^th Anniversary is shaping up rather nicely, as the O₂ Academy Brixton once again prepares itself for another huge New Years Eve. Featuring world class acts such as Mark Ronson, Annie Mac, Fake Blood, Herve and Zinc, Together is set to showcase all that was great about 2010. And now we can confirm that newcomer Katy B will be gracing the stage for that illusive midnight slot.

Already being touted as ‘the next big female star’ to emerge from our shores, Katy B has had an outstanding 2010 which is set to be topped off with a very special midnight performance at Together’s 10^th Anniversary. Her tracks ‘Katy On A Mission’, ‘Louder’ and ‘Perfect Stranger’ (alongside Magnetic Man) have helped shoot her to the forefront of the music industry and become one of the UK’s most in-demand female artists. She is the first lady of Rinse Recordings, encapsulating the sound and spirit of British youth culture which critically acclaimed underground radio station Rinse FM have championed for the past 16 years. After rocking the Together arena at this year’s SW4 beside Skream and Benga, it’s clear that Katy B is no stranger to the big stage.

“I’m really glad that I’m going to be in London on New Years Eve!” she says “it’s definitely the biggest thing I’ve ever done… I’m going to be running around, jumping up and down, looking forward to 2011 and performing all the tracks that I’ve released and hopefully we’ll have an amazing time… I’m going to be there till the end and hope everyone else is because the line-up is absolutely ridiculous and definitely well worth seeing.”
