MIXMAG TOUR : Vulture Vulture

Mixmag are back on tour again this autumn, and are stopping off at The Rainbow in Birmingham this Friday to hook up with leading Dubstep and Drum & Bass Night Vulture Vulture.

The Mixmag Tour 2010 will share with clubbers across the country the very best artists and DJs from the pages of the world’s biggest and best dance music magazine. The UK’s top clubs will provide the backdrop for the most exciting acts from across all genres of dance music. With the emphasis being on young, fresh, exciting talent, uncompromising production and most importantly, a series of unforgettable parties. Headlining the Birmingham event will be the two awesome duo’s of the COUNT & SINDEN & RADIO 1 FAVOURITES JAYMO & ANDY GEROGE.

On tour to promote the release of their long awaited debut album, Count & Sinden’s recent single with Mystery Jets was all over Radio 1 like a cheap shirt and their DJ sets are perfect for the club environment…. bass heavy bangers from start to finish. Between them they have remixed/worked with pretty much every big name in the scene, releasing tracks with the likes of Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Switch and a whole bag more.

Jaymo & Andy George don’t care what genre it is, they’ll play and you will listen and you will love it – from house to dubstep to jagged electro to ripped up techno and even the odd 80s reference, it’s all mashed together into one fine sounding electronic soup ready for you to slurp down more enthusiastically than Paris did in that home video… apparently.

The attention to detail at this party will be acute – as you’d expect from Mixmag and VV – and the club spaces will be dripping with all manner of extra production as a result.  The various spaces at Rainbow/Cellar range from intimate and underground to more spacious and raw, but each is just as engaging as the next, and all are sure to bounce to various beats, all night long.
