We’re back with yet more Halloween event treats, we know club land gets a bit London-centric, so we thought we’d bring you this little treat in Birmingham this weekend.
Spectrum have been presenting some of the biggest parties in the midlands for years, and now for the first time they hit Birminghams HMV institute. The event takes place as part if the Electric City Programme, a 14 week series of dance-music focused events taking place at the Institute, which has highlights such as Magnetic Man, Chase and Status, Booka Shade, Annie Mac and Adam Beyer still to come before the programme closes on New Years Eve.
This weekend see’s both Sub Focus and Stanton Warriors performing live in the 1500 capacity arena, with DJ support from Jaguar Skills, Modestep and Spectrums own Pete Jordan. Over in room 2, Kissy Sell Out’s San City Tour takes over (as featured in our interview with the Squatters last week). The Temple is hosted by Circus Records & the Birmingham Dubstep Community, and guarantees demonically dark dubstep and drum and bass.
