New iPhone app from The Warehouse Project

Organisers of Manchester’s The Warehouse Project are pleased to announce the launch of a new iPhone app that will make buying tickets for the fifth anniversary season even simpler as well as saving fans money. As well as offering in-app ticket purchasing, fans buying tickets through the app will save money on booking fees charged by standard ticket retailers.
Fans wanting to test drive the all-new app couldn’t do much better than grabbing their tickets for the first of Cocoon’s two nights at WHP 10 on Friday 22nd October, whilst drum ‘n’ bass pioneers Chase & Status headline Saturday 23rd.

As well as benefitting from cheaper booking fees and direct, in-app purchasing, users will also receive exclusive event news and info in real-time and before anyone else. If that’s not enough, the app will come with a preloaded mix by WHP resident Kyrsko, the first of a series of free and exclusive content updates which will also include live sessions playable through the app’s in-built MP3 player. These days no night out would be complete without the obligatory photo evidence and the WHP app allows audience members to upload their dance floor pics to the official WHP site and social networks. The app is available now here:

Welcoming the renowned techno label Cocoon for the first of two nights where the roster and friends take over the Store Street decks, Friday 22nd October sees a line-up topped by Richard Villalobos. A minimalist maestro DJ with international presence Villalobos’ sets have blasted out to crowds in Berlin, Ibiza and indeed Manchester’s Warehouse Project two year’s previous. Villalobos is joined by new-comer Raresh who, despite being 23 years young, has already shared decks with Cocoon boss Sven Vaith, Josh Wink and many more. Completing Friday’s line-up are Space resident Nick Curly, Bugged Out resident Brendan Long and WHP’s very own Krysko.
A full-to-bursting party of huge proportions comes courtesy of Dance music’s biggest duo of the moment, Chase & Status on Saturday 23rd October. Bringing their More Than A Lot records crew the drum n’ bass frontrunners will be joined by the legendary Grandmaster Flash, Scratch Perverts, Dynamite MC, Stanton Warriors, Nero, Jaguar Skills, 16Bit, Tempa T, Jakes, Maverick Sabre, Rich Reason & Ken Evil, Tonn Piper, Mad Rush, Skeez, Beardyman and Prophecy.

Expect a near-full audio representation of the dance music spectrum from these special guests from both live and DJ sets.
