Eat your own (D)ears

After seemingly endless problems in the opening week XOYO announces more events worth taking note of between now and Christmas. This time they’ve invited the Eat Your Own Ears crew to take over and host a string of nights, each offering a unique sonic highlight.

From the chamber-folk of Woodpigeon to the acoustic melodies of former Beta Band-er Steve Mason, there’s plenty to get excited about judging by the diary. We’re pretty sure, though, that one name in particular will grab the attention of the Plain & Simple Londoner the most.

Other delectable treats come in the form of Mancunian indie-dancers Egyptian Hip Hop, and LA based disco project Kisses & Fixers. Both well recommended if you ask us. December 9th is the one to remember, though, as Ghostly International man Matthew Dear touches down with his unique brand of low-slung, spoken word house-cum-techno-cum-folktronica. No question about it, tickets will sell out.
