Ben Watt and co will be touching down in the capital on Saturday for their Autumn Party, which should go some way towards compensating those left out in the cold when the Buzzin’ Fly camp sold out Plastic People back in August. Despite the larger capacity this weekend, though, it would still be surprising to see any tickets left on the door for what promises to be a memorable bash.
Joining the head honcho on the night will be homegrown legend turned honorary Berliner Ewan Pearson. The multi-faceted house and techno jock has worked with everyone from Soma Records to Goldfrapp, so expect to be smacked in the face, repeatedly, with a sleazy disco drum. Elsewhere chin strokers will no doubt be overjoyed to hear that diskJokke is flying in from Norway to keep the backroom Oslo, electronic and very ‘now’.
Early bird and first release tickets are sold out, with only £10 advanced now available. Doors will be flung open at 11pm, taxis home should be booked for about 6am, and the venue in question is Cargo. There’s the details, now all you need to do is get yourself there.
