East London gets ready for LED Feastival.

This bank holiday weekend see’s the capital hosting a huge range of festivals and events, not only do we have SW4 and Notting Hill carnival, for those wanting to stay north of the river East London’s Victoria park plays host to LED festival.

LED, or The London Electronic Dance festival is a celebration of some the leading lights in the dance music world. Its billing itself as a ‘London Centric’ event, capturing that underground sound of the capital, and with the likes of Leftfield, Soulwax, Calvin Harris, Aphex Twin and Soulwax on the bill it’s looking set to be a weekend of bass-led frolics all over London town.

Kicking off on Friday Lunchtime (although we’re a bit baffled as to why the event didn’t run on Saturday and Sunday) and running through until 11, LED has arena’s hosted by Tiga’s Turbo records, and Radio 1’s Annie Mac, meaning there’s a good offering of artists from the more commercial side of electronic music right down to the grubby underworld. From electro, to house, to grime, dubstep and techno, East London is preparing for a musical shake up of massive proportions.

Tickets are a reasonable £40 for each day, and £70 for the entire weekend.
