The Definitive SW4 After Parties Guide

Inner city festivals have one clear advantage over most other ‘traditional’ festivals in that there are usually dozens of after parties taking place at surrounding clubs and bars to choose from. Keeping you partying well into the early hours and long after the festival music has finished South West Four Weekender has its fair share of after parties to prolong the Bank Holiday celebrations. Plain & Simple is on hand to let you know exactly who to see and where to go…

Kinky Malinki @ The White House

(29th August 2010 – 8pm – 4am.)

Just a short walk from SW4 itself is the Kinky Malinki After Party at The White    House. The infamous London clubbing brand Kinky Malinki, with a reputation of throwing the most memorable parties around, will host a selection of resident and guest DJ’s playing through ‘til 4am to end the very first SW4 Weekender in true stay-out-late style.

Plain & Simple’s very own Tom Chubb will be in the building to refresh and rejuvenate the most tired of festival-feet with a unique mix of the best up-front house music for your after-party pleasure.

Straight after Fatboy Slim and Salt ‘n’ Pepa where better to go than SW4’s closest designated after party at The White House where, alongside Tom, the resident Kinky DJ’s, Grant Richards, Blush, Dom Chevez, Jon Vamp and Liam D will be playing into the small hours of Monday morning.

Carnival & SW4 After Party @ Clapham Grand

(Sunday 29th August – 9pm – 5am)

For those that need a dangerously large dose of dubstep during the August Bank Holiday Clapham Grand’s Carnival & SW4 Afterparty on Sunday 29th is without doubt the place to head to once the festival has finished. With drum ‘n’ bass and dubstep giants such as Andy C and Plastician on the decks there’s no question about the quality and consistency on offer.

Running from 9pm until 5am there will be a full eight hours of after party entertainment to enjoy. Andy C will bring his trademark drum ‘n’ bass with him whilst Plastician, a forefather of the dubstep movement in the UK, will no doubt play some of the heaviest wobbly tunes around.

The list of DJ’s goes on as Badness, Artful Dodger vs DJ Luck and Foreign Beggars will grace the decks too, most likely to bring old school garage, drum ‘n’ bass, house and dubstep to life again. SBTRKT, Captain Crunch, Mr J Cutter & Mekar MC, Slugz & Boyson, Robin Hood and Loot & Prof D will top off the phenomenal after party lineup.

At £12 per ticket you’re unlikely to find this many top-class DJ’s under one roof on a regular weekend, let alone the Bank Holiday SW4 Weekend!
